OFFICINE IADR, RESEARCH AND DEVELOPMENT IN THE SERVICE OF INNOVATION. The Genoese company participated in the CES in Las Vegas with its highly innovative project ‘The Meter’.

The CEO recounts:

A very important milestone for us is definitely The Meter. Having realised a dream that was born during university makes us particularly proud. To have been able to turn the idea into a project and to see it take off despite the difficulties of the covid period makes us even more satisfied, as does having received an honourable mention at the Compasso D’Oro edition. A further achievement is to have produced The Meter in Italy and above all to have made space measurements easier and faster. A challenge for the future is surely to start bringing our product and our surveying philosophy to Europe and, why not, also to the world to make room measurements smarter.

The Journal of Architecture talks about The Meter!

“Born as a university project that wanted to simplify and speed up the classic detection method but with style and elegance, even the appearance of the device reflects its technical characteristics and enhances its potential. From this project was born The Meter, an object with essential shapes and lines in its minimalist style: this allows absolute balance between the parts that compose it, allowing perfect harmony in rotation. A light and elegant design that has also won prestigious awards: winner of the ADI Design Index 2021 and Honourable Mention at the 27th edition of the ADI Compasso d’Oro Award. The App was also conceived and designed to be simple and intuitive. Quick steps guarantee users a fast and precise working experience. Everything you need is just a click away.”
